Brand Spotlight: Proof

At this stage in the game, there’s no shortage of exciting cannabis brands out there to choose from. With so much creativity and innovation on display, it really takes a lot to attract our attention. That’s one reason we’re thrilled to offer our customers the exquisite THC tincture, RSO, and full-spectrum oil line from Proof, a women-owned company that’s rewriting the rules on how cannabis can support better relaxation, better sleep, and a better you.

In today’s post, we’ll share a little bit of the Proof story, and tell you about some of the products we make sure to always have on hand.

Proof: Keeping It in the Family

Founded in 2016 by a husband-and-wife team, from the beginning Proof focused on producing highly concentrated, highly effective cannabis products they could offer at a compassionate price point. That means not a lot of overhead, like big ad campaigns or fancy packaging.

The result is a lean and mean company that puts its money where its mouth is: Being inclusive and transparent in its business practices, and focusing on serving (and hiring) from traditionally underrepresented communities, including women and the LGBTQIA community.

Proof: RSO Syringe and THC Oils

Proof produces a wide range of products, but the core of its offering is high-potency tinctures, capsules, and Rick Simpson Oil products tailored for specific outcomes. These might include deeper sleep, freedom from pain, or just relaxing to the fullest. (Proof also produces a sister brand called Super Wow which produces flavored, high-potency THC tincture.)

Rick Simpson Oil—often known as RSO—is a fascinating product in its own right. A homemade cannabis concentrate created by a Canadian maintenance engineer of the same name, it’s unusual for a number of reasons. For one thing, Simpson claims that his use of an RSO topical cured several small skin cancers. While the result wasn’t verified by a medical professional—and we want to be clear that so far as we know, cannabis doesn’t “cure” cancer—studies such as this one point to anti-cancer properties in several cannabinoids and terpenes.

In addition to Proof’s RSO syringe line, we love the company’s Tsunami Capsules. Packing a whopping 100 mg of THC in each capsule, they’re designed for experienced cannabis connoisseurs who have a high tolerance or require a high dosage for therapeutic purposes.

Proof’s THC tincture, on the other hand, is available in several different strengths, depending on desired results. One way in which Proof’s product line is so refreshing is the focus on micro dosing, or taking very small doses of THC, CBD, and other cannabinoids for subtle, almost subliminal effects.

Many of us love micro dosing in part because cannabis is biphasic, meaning that its effects change depending on its dosage. And as research indicates, many of us actually get a greater medical benefit from using lower doses of cannabis.
